Said to warm the emotions and sharpen the senses, spicy, pungent ginger is a wonderful complement to the gentle, stress-relieving Tulsi in our Tulsi Ginger Tea. Made with 100% organically grown ginger and Rama, Krishna, and Vana Tulsi, the soothing, bright flavor of this tea with its warm, rich flavor, is a delicious indulgence any time of year.
You will need a "tea basket" that inserts into a cup, a "tea ball" or an individual empty "tea bag." Place a tablespoon of Tulsi tea leaves into the tea basket, ball or tea bag, and place in your favorite mug. Bring clean fresh water to boil, and pour boiling water over Tulsi tea leaves in your cup. Cover and let steep for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove tea basket, ball or bag, and enjoy. Use more tea leaves for a stronger flavor and less for a milder flavor, as per your taste. Please note: The stronger the tea, the more potent the benefits.
Use one full tablespoon of tea per cup. Place the tea leaves in your teapot, and pour fresh boiling water over the tea leaves. Let the tea steep for 5 - 10 minutes, and pour through a small strainer directly into the cup. Use more tea for a stronger flavor and less for a milder flavor, as per your taste. Please note: The stronger the tea, the more potent the benefits.
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 8 teaspoons of tea, cover and add sweetener if desired. Infuse for 20 minutes. Strain and add 2 cups of cold water, and refrigerate. Pour over ice to serve.
Throughout India, Tulsi is considered "The Queen of Herbs" and is revered as a sacred plant infused with healing power. Traditionally grown in an earthen pot in every family home or garden, Tulsi (also known as Holy Basil) makes a delicious and refreshing tea that possesses wonderful health benefits that support the body's natural immune system while relieving the body's negative reaction to stress.* Tulsi's remarkable life-enhancing qualities, noted repeatedly in ancient Indian scriptures dating back 5,000 years, are now here for you to fully enjoy. Namaste!

This is the first time I have tried this kind of tea. It is a very strong tea. 1/2 teaspoon should do the trick for a cup of tea which would be good for at least a couple steeps. It has a strong aroma with the ginger added in. It also is a tea that makes me sleepy so it is good for the evening and not for driving. It is very well priced as it will take a long time to use the 1 pound bag.
Thanks Organic India. Jerry
