Both rich in antioxidants, Tulsi and green tea have each also been shown to promote a healthy metabolism. Our Tulsi Green Tea, with its earthy, toasty flavor, is an invigorating blend of two extraordinarily potent, naturally restorative plants. An excellent afternoon pick-me-up.
You will need a "tea basket" that inserts into a cup, a "tea ball" or an individual empty "tea bag." Place a tablespoon of Tulsi tea leaves into the tea basket, ball or tea bag, and place in your favorite mug. Bring clean fresh water to boil, and pour boiling water over Tulsi tea leaves in your cup. Cover and let steep for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove tea basket, ball or bag, and enjoy. Use more tea leaves for a stronger flavor and less for a milder flavor, as per your taste. Please note: The stronger the tea, the more potent the benefits.
Use one full tablespoon of tea per cup. Place the tea leaves in your teapot, and pour fresh boiling water over the tea leaves. Let the tea steep for 5 - 10 minutes, and pour through a small strainer directly into the cup. Use more tea for a stronger flavor and less for a milder flavor, as per your taste. Please note: The stronger the tea, the more potent the benefits.
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 8 teaspoons of tea, cover and add sweetener if desired. Infuse for 20 minutes. Strain and add 2 cups of cold water, and refrigerate. Pour over ice to serve.
Throughout India, Tulsi is considered "The Queen of Herbs" and is revered as a sacred plant infused with healing power. Traditionally grown in an earthen pot in every family home or garden, Tulsi (also known as Holy Basil) makes a delicious and refreshing tea that possesses wonderful health benefits that support the body's natural immune system while relieving the body's negative reaction to stress.* Tulsi's remarkable life-enhancing qualities, noted repeatedly in ancient Indian scriptures dating back 5,000 years, are now here for you to fully enjoy. Namaste!

It's easy to make and tastes great. I'm giving up coffee for a while and thought that I'd switch to this. Can't beat that it's good for you too. A very smooth and tasteful tea experience for sure. Buying it by the pound would be a way to save some cash. Thank you Organic India !!!! Love always, Jim

I decided I needed to cut off the coffee for a bit, but I always need a bit of a pick me up in the afternoon. This holy basil tea, or as it is called here Tulsi Tea, works better than coffee! It picks me up without getting me jittery, and I can still sleep at night OK drinking this in the afternoon. It tastes good and I feel great drinking it!
