Tulsi Immunity Elixir with Neem
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ to 2 Cups boiled water
- 2-3 ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Original tea bags
- ½ inch piece of ginger root, peeled and sliced
- ½ inch piece of turmeric root, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 Teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon ORGANIC INDIA Neem
- Pinch of cayenne, optional
- 1-2 Teaspoons manuka honey or maple syrup, optional
- Lemon and orange slices, basil, optional to serve
Method:
- Steep the ORGANIC INDIA tea bags, ginger root, and turmeric root in the boiled water, at least 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and whisk in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, ORGANIC INDIA Neem, cayenne, and sweetener to taste.
- Strain and divide into serving mugs or glasses, garnished if desired with lemon and orange slices and basil leaves.
- Serve hot, warm, room temperature, or even chilled.
