It’s the season for salads, when nature extends endless invitations to revel in her sun-ripened glory. Top off the bounty with homemade Turmeric croutons! Easy to make, this simple recipe delivers more than fabulous flavor and incredible crunch, thanks to our ORGANIC INDIA herbal supplements.
Here’s a great opportunity to make the most of stale bread! For best results, use a sturdy, crusty bread such as sourdough for these seasoned crumbles. Cut or tear into cubes, then coat with a simple combo of oil and herbs. If preferred, a liberal spritz of cooking spray followed by a sprinkling of our ORGANIC INDIA supplements works, too. All that’s left to do is bake and enjoy!
We love incorporating our antioxidant Turmeric Formula for its warm brightness and earthy flavor, beautifully complementing seasonal produce. Best known for promoting health joints, Turmeric has been a staple of Ayurvedic systems for thousands of years.
Our unique Turmeric formula combines “the golden root” with curcumin and Trikatu, allowing for maximum absorption, but for this recipe, we like to add just a little extra peppery kick of our ORGANIC INDIA Trikatu on its own. Translating to “three pungents”, in reference to sharp taste and broad spectrum of bioactive benefits, tri-herb formula Trikatu supplements have been used for thousands of years, with benefits backed by modern science. Great for spring sensitivities, this traditional formula is best known for supporting digestion and overall gastric function.
With such quick, easy prep and satisfying, versatile flavor, you won’t likely be tempted by store bought croutons ever again! Feel free to mix and match your favorite ORGANIC INDIA supplements to suit each summer salad and soup as you please–and savor every bite!
