It doesn’t have to be spring to stop and smell the roses! With this fragrant, simple, and comforting tea latte, even blazing autumn is pretty in pink. Our ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose teas meld magically with beetroot powder, yielding a gorgeous pink potion latte brimming with wellness benefits.

What better pair for Tulsi, “Queen of Herbs”, than the iconic Rose, also known as “the queen of flowers”? Representative throughout history of love, royalty, beauty, sensuality, power, and more, the alluring Rose is much more than a pretty face. Containing various active plant compounds that may support diverse aspects of physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, Rose tea has been used in Ayurvedic and other cultural traditions as a nourishing elixir.  Sacred adaptogenic herb Tulsi, for its part, has been celebrated in India for over 5,000 years for its role in supporting whole body wellness.

Our Tulsi Sweet Rose Assam Black tea will lend a slightly more robust flavor, while our original Tulsi Sweet Rose will deliver a more delicate taste dancing with floral fragrance. Pink Potion Latte with Rose and Beet

Per 1 serving

Ingredients:

  •  ½ Cup boiling water
  •  2 ORGANIC INDIA USA Tulsi Sweet Rose or Tulsi Sweet Rose Black tea bags
  •  1 Tablespoon beetroot powder (plus 1 optional Teaspoon)
  •  ½ Tablespoon maple syrup
  •  ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
  •  1 ¼ Cups unsweetened plant milk (we love oat and almond)

Method:

  1.  In a small saucepan or teapot steep ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose tea bags in the boiled water for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, warm the milk to just simmering. If desired, whisk in the 1 Teaspoon of Bring to a low simmer, then use a handheld frother or whisk to create a light foam.
  3. Place the 1 Tablespoon beetroot powder, maple syrup, and vanilla in a serving mug. Pour the tea concentrate on top and stirr to dissolve the powder.
  4. Pour the warmed milk over the tea, reserving some of the foam. Use a spoon to top with the frothed milk. Garnish if desired with a sprinkling of more beetroot powder and mini rose petals.
