Bursting with our favorite warm spices, this quick and easy oatmeal bowl is power-packed with healing herbs, nurturing pre and probiotics, and overall good energy to sustain you through the day.

Protein and fiber rich oatmeal is one of the simplest, healthiest, most rib-sticking breakfasts, perfect for cool mornings. We love simmering our oats in equal parts unsweetened plant milk and a strong brew of our ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Masala Chai tea. Made with traditional Indian spices, our unique blend harnesses the power of Tulsi (Holy Basil), an adaptogenic herb that has been used for thousands of years to support the immune system, natural detoxification processes, stress relief, and more.

Deepen and elevate flavorful warming spiciness even more with our ORGANIC INDIA Cinnamon Spice Psyllium Pre and Probiotic Fiber. Your digestive system’s best friend, this versatile power made from a classic Ayurvedic formula supports digestive health, heart health, and a strong, healthy gut microbiome. Stirring in this potent fiber powder at the end of cooking adds flavor and creamy bulk without overly thickening. Top this delicious, autumnal porridge with pumpkin seeds, fresh figs, or apple slices—for a touch of elegance, add pear halves poached in our Tulsi Chai Masala tea

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Place the 2 ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Chai Masala tea bags in 1 cup boiled water and brew several minutes. Discard the tea bags.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the tea, plant milk milk, and spices (through cardamom, if using) to a low boil over medium-high heat, whisking every 30 seconds or so to prevent the milk from scalding.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the oats. Cook until becoming thick and creamy, approximately 5 minutes depending on the thickness of your oats.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the ORGANIC INDIA Cinnamon Spice Pre and Probiotic Fiber. Divide into bowls and top as desired to serve. Enjoy!
