Delicious on its own, our ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Turmeric Tea’s flavors sing without enhancement, but feel free to add fresh turmeric and ginger to boost those piquant notes even further. Stir a little maple syrup into the tea concentrate, or whisk it into your steaming milk. However you choose to blend, this slightly sweet and spicy beverage is brimming with fantastic flavor.
Optional garnish: additional Turmeric and ground cinnamon, star anise, cinnamon stick
In a small saucepan or teapot, steep the ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Turmeric Chai tea bag(s) in freshly boiled water, covered, for 5 minutes. If desired, place ginger and turmeric pieces in the water while steeping.
Remove the bags and slices and pour the tea concentrate into a serving mug.
Stir in maple syrup. In a small saucepan, warm the milk until just before boiling point (you will see small bubbles forming around the edges of the pan). Whisk in the ORGANIC INDIA Turmeric Formula. Remove from heat and use a handheld frother to foam (or continue to whisk until desired frothiness).
Top up your mug with the warmed golden milk, spooning froth on the top. Garnish with a sprinkling of spices and star anise.
