It’s that time of year, when windows and aisles everywhere burst forth with dazzling displays of heart-shaped chocolate boxes and other sweet treats. Whether you’re all in for Valentine’s Day, love getting together with your Galentines, or can’t help but roll your eyes at the overt commercialism of it all, February is a great time to give gray days a cheerful lift. What better way to do so than sharing some love?
Of course, sweet gestures don’t have to be edible, but when they are there’s no need for artificial colors or heavy sugar loads. Creating a visually stunning Valentine grazing board is a beautiful way to express loving sentiments–even the preparation itself brings joy. A free-form design sparks creativity, comes together quickly, and accommodates all tastes and preferences. Include rich, delectable dips infused with our ORGANIC INDIA Ashwagandha and Shatavari, and you’ll surely gratify a chocolate fix, too.
Designing a Valentine Grazing Board

When designing a heartfelt, delectable grazing board, here are some points to consider:
- Texture. Aim to incorporate a variety of textures and flavors, even when generally the overall theme is sweet.
- Placement. Start by placing key or larger items, such as dipping sauces, at various points; then, arrange compatible pairings nearby and throughout the board.
- Filling Space. Use smaller or more flexibly maneuverable items, such as bunches of grapes, to fill in gaps.
- Vertical Space. Build in different heights and colors to create the most vibrant visual appeal.
Here, we’ve mixed our ORGANIC INDIA Ashwagandha into a simple, heavenly dark chocolate sauce and our ORGANIC INDIA Shatavari into a complementary white chocolate spread, naturally tinted pretty pink with a pinch of beetroot powder. Also known as Indian Ginseng, Ashwagandha is a remarkable, increasingly renowned adaptogenic herb that has been used for centuries for its powerful stress-relieving properties and as a source of vitality*; nourishing, gentle Shatavari is best known for its strength supporting healthy hormonal balance.*
There are truly no limits when it comes to playfully incorporating herbal wellness into a wholesomely indulgent dessert board like this one. In addition to dark and pink chocolate sauces, here we’ve added a delectable date caramel sauce, a berry chia jam, heart-shaped turmeric cutout cookies, and chocolate dipped date truffles/cake pop tops, all infused with our ORGANIC INDIA supplements. See below for dip recipes as well as links to other suggestions and create to your heart’s content!
