We love making these tantalizing summer mocktail recipes with complementary simple syrups made with agave. Just pour strong brewed tea, chilled, over ice, stir in a little syrup, add a splash of juice if desired, and top with sparkling water. Raspberry Lemon Mocktail

Tulsi focus tea summer mocktail recipes in tall glasses with raspberry, lemon and orange garnish.

2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ Cups boiled water
  • 2 ORGANIC INDIA Raspberry Lemon Focus Tea bags
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon simple syrup (see below)
  • A good squeeze fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Soda water
  • Ice, fresh raspberries, and lemon slices, to serve

Method:

  1. Prepare the tea: Steep the tea bags in 1 ½ cups freshly boiled water for ten minutes. Let cool and keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Craft the mocktail: When serving, fill two glasses with ice. Pour cold tea to fill each glass halfway. Top each with a squeeze of juice if desired and ½ Tablespoon simple syrup. Top each glass with sparkling water, gently stirring to combine. Adjust to taste and garnish as desired.

Lemon simple syrup

  • ¼ Cup agave
  • ¼ Cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ Teaspoon lemon zest, optional

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over low to medium heat and cook, stirring, 2-3 minutes, until honey/agave is incorporated. Let cool to room temperature. Strain out the zest (if using) and store in an airtight glass container in the fridge 1-2 weeks.

Clementine Vanilla Mocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ Cups boiled water
  • 2 ORGANIC INDIA Clementine Vanilla Focus Tea bags
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • Soda water
  • Ice, fresh orange or clementine slices, to serve

Method:

  1. Prepare the tea: Steep the tea bags in 1 ½ cups freshly boiled water for ten minutes. Let cool and keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Craft the mocktail: When serving, fill two glasses with ice. Pour cold tea to fill each glass halfway. Top each with 1 Tablespoon juice and ½ Tablespoon simple syrup. Top each glass with sparkling water, gently stirring to combine. Adjust to taste and garnish as desired.

Vanilla agave simple syrup

¼ Cup agave
¼ Cup warm water
⅛ Teaspoon vanilla extract

In a small saucepan, stir agave and water over low heat 2-3 minutes until the agave is incorporated. Stir in extract. Let cool to room temperature and store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator 1-2 weeks.

*If making a larger batch of this syrup, feel free to swap in seeds scraped from a vanilla pod in place of the extract. If making a smaller amount for single servings, use just a few drops of extract.


Cinnamon Hibiscus Mocktail

Ingredients:

  1. 1 ½ Cups boiled water
  2. 2 ORGANIC India Cinnamon Hibiscus Focus Tea bags
  3. 2 Tablespoons pomegranate juice, optional
  4. 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon Simple Syrup (recipe below)
  5. Ice
  6. Soda water

Method:

  1. Prepare the tea: Steep the tea bags in 1 ½ cups freshly boiled water for ten minutes. Let cool and keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Craft the mocktail: When serving, fill two glasses with ice. Pour cold tea to fill each glass halfway. Top each with 1 Tablespoon juice if using and ½ Tablespoon simple syrup. Top each glass with sparkling water, gently stirring to combine. Adjust to taste and garnish as desired.

Cinnamon simple syrup

¼ Cup honey (if vegan, use agave)
¼ Cup water
1 cinnamon stick

Place honey or agave, water, and cinnamon stick in a small saucepan and warm over low heat, for 2-3 minutes, until honey is incorporated. Remove from heat and let steep at least 10 minutes. When cooled, store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator 1 -2 weeks. 

Optional method for all three mocktails:

Preparing the tea: Steep 2 ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Focus tea bags in your chosen flavor in 1 ½ cups freshly boiled water for ten minutes. Let cool and keep chilled in the fridge until ready to use.

Crafting the mocktails: When serving, fill two glasses with ice. Pour cold ORGANIC INDIA Focus tea to fill each glass halfway. Top each with 1 Tablespoon juice if desired and ½ Tablespoon complementary simple syrup. Top each glass with sparkling water, gently stirring to combine. Adjust to taste and garnish as desired.
