Summer Can Be Spontaneous: 4 Tips to Stay Regular

Is there anything worse than feeling “backed-up” and bloated during the warm summer months? Staying regular is something that many people don’t want to talk about, but it is key to looking and feeling our best.

Digestion has often been referred to as the foundation for good health, and with good reason. If we aren’t digesting our food and having regular bowel movements, we risk feeling tired, bloated, irritable, and gassy.

Don’t let unbalanced digestion happen to you! Here are four ways you can keep things moving this summer, naturally!

Fill up with Fiber

We are all familiar with the benefits of fiber as it relates to keeping us regular. The problem is that most people just aren’t getting enough of this macronutrient in their daily diet. That is one of the reasons why I am such a big fan of ORGANIC INDIA Whole Husk Psyllium. Not only does it promote healthy elimination and regularity, it also works to support the entire digestive system. Psyllium is a wonderful source of both soluble and insoluble fiber, making it a simple way to reduce your chances of feeling constipated.

I recommend drinking a glass of luke-warm lemon water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Lemon juice is also packed with vitamin C which has been shown to help promote clear skin…just an added bonus! Use 1/2 of a lemon per glass of warm water for best results.
